Assamese (অসমীয়া ভাষা). From the perspective of the current Indian languages, the language spoken in the state of Assam located in the north-eastern part of India, is Assamese – also called Asamiya, and pronounced Ohomiya (ɒɦɒɱɨːʝɑ). Apart from being the most popular spoken language of the region, it is the official State Language of Assam. Like Oriya and Bengali languages, there is no gender difference in Assamese. That is to say, Assamese has only one gender – male gender. Being located near the Indian border, influence of Oriya and Bengali as well as Burmese and Tibetan languages is amply detected. It is the language spoken by a population of about twenty million Indians. The Assamese language evolved from the Gupta alphabet around 1200 CE, which is similar to the Mithila alphabet and the Bengali alphabet. Our roster comprises professionally proven male & female voice-over artists in the Assamese language.
